ok so who here has been the victim of a car theif? and who hasnt

never had any of my cars broken into, maybe its cos of where i live, im also smart about where i park my car and always arm my alarm (now that i have one) when i leave the car, i never leave my car unlocked and always take my wallet with me, cellphones and discmans live in the glovebox as well can't have them being chucked around when im cornering or leave them in sight of dodgy peoples

i had some idiot try go for my car last weekend, obviously idiots because i found a coathanger jammed in my passenger window in the morning.. not the best way to steal a car eh?

Ive had my first car stolen ... Yeah go the mad 86 FWD corrola
And my MR2 has had a coupla goes at it but no-one has managed to yet

Had someone try to steal the stereo in my last car ... smashed one of the triangular windows at the back to get in, then ripped the front off the stereo trying to get it out. At that point they gave up. The two screws holding the stereo in must have been too much for them to handle

They got a CD and a cassette adapter out of the glove box though ...

i had my old car cleaned out, cell fone, zippo, cds, discman, headunit, all speakers, subs, amps etc
and they smashed my windscreen too

Had an RX-7 stolen before...thats one of the most gutwrenching feelings you can ever have, as anyone who's had a car nicked will attest to.

my ae92 levin almost got broken into, they fukt both locks then didnt get it so took off

then at the same place my mr2 got broken into, they stuffed my drivers door lock then that didnt work so they smashed the window but didnt take anything

mine got broken into right out on the driveway while i was home... alarm went off but it didnt wake anyone up. Came out in the morning to find my window smashed and speakers gone... thank god for detachable faceplates.. they didnt touch the headunit.

my 92 levin got broken into once at my house through the passenger door lock and took nothing, then broken into at school by smashing both passenger windows and took my gearknob, then my car got stolen from manukau tech.

quite amazing.... more than half of the cars got broke in.

my last car was a nissan pulsar N/A, automatic, 1.5 litre, 5-6 dents or dings.... muddy... but for some reason... they picked my car. and yeah, they smack the plastic around my cd player, and still couldn't manage to get it out... so they took the front interface of it..... oh yeah, and some CDs.... $&#$% idiots.

I've only had 1 car stolen, it was a h....... so I guess I deserved it!

I've also had about 3 stereo rip offs. All good sh*t too like a Pioneer CD, Alipne V12 amp and sub, and a speaker box with Pioneer 6x9's and two Cerwin Vega 12" subs.

Mind you, I bought a stolen car stereo when I was about 14, so I figure it's just Karma

I've only had dodge ppl stop and reverse back to eye up my car, until they realised we were angrily staring back from the house

Im pretty careful of were its parked and now i've bought a "no one will steal it, 84 starlet" for times when i want to leave my ae86 at home

and when i was @ skool, i had the old yamaha scooter stolen as well, does that count???

some mother f***ing c*** licker stole my hz panel van.

I actually surprised how many people haven't been ripped. I rarely drive my car anywhere and never park where i can't hear the alarm at night. But my car has been broken into in my own gated driveway and my dads car twice on the road including once this friday. This is in Remuera, car theft here is rampant. Damn no good dirty scum.

When I lent my brother mine, it was broken into and would have been stolen if the punks could have moved the van parked behind it. As it was, everything that wasn't part of the cars interior was taken.
