how do you guys prefer multi sub setups?
Just curious as i am gonna try to get another sub & a decent custom box for them.

I had a pair of JBL Power Series 12"s in my rolla back in the day....like 5 years ago. I tried magnets in and it went hard....but i then reversed it with the magnets out and it actually seemed a little louder, maybe because theres now more volume free in the box.

Looked cool too, hardly anyone had subs in 1998/99 in Blenheim and to have them magnets out got a few looks 8)

shouldnt make that much difference if u keep the same internal volumes. i think it comes down to how flash the back of your subs look and the available space u have to put them in (if u mount em magnets-out, they r gonna reduce the depth available in the box, making the box long & skinny). and if they r in da boot of a hatch or sumthin, that will make things awkward when u wanna use boot space if they jut out. harder to protect from damage too

what sorta subs r they? wat car they goin in? :)

as for one in-one out, you will have to mount them out-of-phase or they will cancel each other out...out-of phase i cant imagine much of a difference from above acoustically speaking.

are you lookin for maximum-bass from them or just loud 'good-quality' bass?

when u say 2 in one box i hope you mean your also putting an internal divider in the box? basically so you can have 2 individual boxes????

if not both subs would have to be exactly the smae age, type, power input etc etc otherwise one will go west real quick
