Is this game and any advertising for it an outlet for illegal street-racing fiends - or does it just glamorise the whole scene?

It certainly doesnt give me the impression that we should stop street racing, so bringing out a game that involves street racing would therefor condone it some what.

it is the same as NFSU series, it just glamorises the illigal street racers. On one hand it is just a game, but it could give people who are easily led(ie young kids) the view that this is cool, and possibly how much better would it be if they were out there themselves. Now the GT series, there is a good upstanding game

i think if you can't determine between a game and reality you shouldn't be playing the game in the first place

Thats the unfortunate thing. There are always gonna be some idiots out there that spoil the rest of our fun.

Example: There were some kids in the USA (Suprise suprise) that decided to reenact their favourite scene from GTA3 and drove down a state highway taking shots at other drivers with a rifle.
