NFS Underground Most Wanted

Postby Kermit12a » Wed Oct 19, 2005 9:53 am

Well as most gemer people and some who are not have played NFSU2 and also the rest since. Midnight Club Dub Ed, Jucied. Well the King is coming back NFS Underground with "Most Wanted" it is out on the 24th of November. Bigger and better than ever. Hard to get to much on it at the mo. But they have Cops and BMW, Not much more than that. :?

Just wanted to get an idea as to which game people thought was better.

But it should be good :P

Theyre all pretty crap really..

NFSU2 gets annoyingly hard at times..
Juiced you can make the cars look reaaally nice.. pity the physics of the handling were devised by someone missing chromosomes.. they suck.

Dub edition.. well.. havent really played it, but doesnt it have a pic of a huge SUV sitting on chromes on the front.. nuff said

I played the demo of this, got it with my new graphics card. Trying to drive it was harder than flying a helicopter sim, the physics might has well been on mars.

on xbox...

nfsU1 - wicked as, new concepts and very challanging

nfxU2 - new cool features and good ideas. gameplay too slow (it doesnt give you a real sense of speed like the first one did) and overall it was too easy. especially the last race. the soundtrack not as good as the first one with exceptions from rise against ;)

burnout3 - so much fun with multiplayer or taking turns at crashes. burnout REVENGE is out now or soon and shall be a worth a look. i loved the drift feeling of this game too, $&#$% up funny physics but cool arcade style of racing. Best game soundtrack ive ever heard. ramones, rise against, eighteen visions etc! fucck yeh!

midnight club - played it once, deleted it off xbox. gfx arent that great, concept is old, and meh...boring and slow racing

forza racing - while being quite cool and pretty and with an original guitar based soundtrack which is tops. the game itself didnt keep me interested, but that probably comes down to me getting too old.

juiced - looked forward to its release, but it was delayed about a year so i never got to play it. im sure i tried a demo version of it and it looked and played like shit.

as for the new need for speed, sounds cool but they need to bring back that super fast feeling of the first one. makes it a lot more real and challanging.

I agree. I do like the open ended ness of the maps on 2 though. Had a good amont of traks to keep you interested and the sound track was lame.
But hay I have a PC with 40GB of music. Turn off Music and play music in windows in the background. Still stabel and good tunes.

Just pre ordered for PS2 for Most wanted though.

Yeah. Its not bad. You really need a wheel and pedals and huge screen to make the most of it though...

yeh the open map where you can challange other drivers for races is kinda cool and i loved doin all the downhill drifts :D
there is an easy way around hard races though. if you exit then go back in you go against different players and some are easy as $&#$%, its just about luck.

preorder? hehe ill just goto the vid store when its released and copy it onto xbox, yay $7 game

I use to play with a keyboard profer it. I have more troub with controler. Then moved to ps2 so had to get use to it.

I have been meaning to get my ps2 chiped so i can do the same but not that important. If it is a game I like I am happy to pay for it. I have riped so much as a sutdent that I can now afford to pay so hay.

I had NFSU 1 installed for about 10 minutes on my computer and thought it was the most stupid game I'd ever played. I think I completed a lap without having to use the brake once. I didn't like the whole hip hop/American riced car scene thing. GT4 for me I'm afraid. I've gotta get me a mod chip so I can get some import games.

yeh im thinkin there was a major difference with the PC and xbox versions. PC being a $&#$% easier, heard of people finishing it overnight. i never managed to clock it on xbox and was quite addictive
