North Island / South Island...

Postby V8MOFO » Sat Nov 05, 2005 4:16 pm

Who is a victor!?
Why is the North Island better than the South Island?
Why is the South Island better than the North Island?

This should cause a good fight or 2

man, if you mention Hamilton, North Island will lose.
Just like if Dunedin is mentioned in the south Island :P

Now you know thats not fair to Auckland, it would have a hard enough time winning anyway with the help of the other NI towns!

Go the South Island, lived in both for a decent period of time and you know what I have come to the conclusion of...

North Island cities have twisty roads just to confuse first time visitors!

There's places I love all over NZ- having lived in Dunedin, Nelson, Auckland, New Plymouth, Wellington and Christchuch; and having holidayed all over the place, I feel I can comment :P

Though if you held me to gunpoint and made me pick, I'd probably have to say the South Island.

Havnt lived in the north. Would like to get up there and have a look around.

But SI is good. CHCH is good. Nelson is good for NYs. Dunners is good for.... students.

Dunedin is also good for NOT getting your stuff pinched, or NOT getting groups of 10 little blackarses trying to jack you for your shoes...

You can leave your shit unlocked, and you can still get into a fight and not get stabbed...

True. Well CHCH is not good for those things, and I have a bruise on my eye to prove it (some drunk gunit wanabe was punching people who were walking down the street, you can guess his colour).
