Jamex vs Kings Superlows

Postby GGnz » Thu Nov 17, 2005 10:41 pm

Seems to be that every 2nd person is telling me one spring is better then the other so thought I'd poll it. What spring would be best for my AE111 Trueno?

End of the day, it wont make a huge difference, neither one are gunna be way better than the other, very similar springs and people are just gunna vote of their experiences. You probaly wont even notice the difference between the two. Just buy which ever one you can get cheaper.

He wants to actually make the car lower, so TRD isn't an option... :lol:

Im really happy with the B&G's in my cyborg, made it sit way lower and ride is 100x better than shitty factory. Much better springs than the shitty kings in the trueno...

EDIT: Not sure if they make springs for toyotas but could be worth checking out.

20mm...exactly, that shouldn't even be called lowered... :lol:

King's ride quality seems to vary from spring type to spring type, I've had "super lows" in a number of cars now, in some the ride quality was bullshit, but in others they were awesome all round... 8)

20mm :D :D car prob goes that low when some body jump's into it :lol: :lol:
King's don't seem to make super low for most car's (which suck's) hence why I droppped the King's for some 3 Way Adjustable's.. Even sitting with all 4 wheel's in the gaurd's handled like a demon..

Oh well i prefer handeling over looks but what ever floats your boat, just get your standards compressed if you want low and no handeling.

I would go for the TRD ones for a 30mm drop, or for a 50mm drop.... Lovells do a good spring. :D

Haha, just as I thought... :lol:

It's all about how things are done, were the springs even captive, or did it have any travel at all?

kings = arse
jamex = ok, but a lot of ppl think they are to soft.

how low do you want to go? ae1## are pretty low factory, a 50mm drop is a real pita. mines lowered 30mm and it gets annoying at times
