autosol goes hard

You should add neither as an option

I use the mothers stuff in the cream jar - its the best stuff ever and its not that expensive

whatever that stuff is in a tube you get from repco (a tube in a box).....

works bloody well, white cream stuff. only ever use that.

EDIT: just did a search, i use autosol.

Yeh I am polishing some old mags up, ive heard autosol is pretty good, I just tried brasso, didnt work very well :x

I think Autosol is a bit more abrasive than Brasso...Brasso might be ok for stuff that already has a smooth finish.

Autosol is great.
I used it to clean up some cheviot turbos that hadn't been previously polished, just the plain alloy.
And I even got a bit of shine 8) wonderful stuff!

Yeh im polishing some old wildcats.

Did you just use a rag and plenty of rubbing or what?
