Who would donate to toyspeed??

Postby Low_Aa63 » Wed Feb 22, 2006 5:12 pm

Now honestly who would donate some funds to the running costs of toyspeed?? Like hosting and all the other mumbo jumbo that there might be

Maybe comment on what you think would be a fair donation or what you yourself would donate!

not really, dont see the point in paying for an online forum,

How about a tax on spammers that take everything off topic? maybe it can be funded in that way?

I'd donate for more events, but not just for the forum.

Approx figures.. give or take $200,00 grand a year not including hardware.

This is just to give SOME form of idea just how much it costs to put a forum this size in place.

You dont need a POLL about it either, the Toyspeed bank account is avalible should i PM you it? and you can Donate away.

$2000 grand?

Thats $2,000,000 Adydas you fool :)

Actual costs are dependant on whether you count bandwidth or not.

But anyway.

This sort of question should be posed by the ADMINS not by a USER.
No offense, but if we want to vet to see who would donate, we'll do it ourselves.
We're not asking for donations at this stage and presuming the spam stops, we wont have to !

[And in order to make it perfectly clear: Offering to contribute money in order for the right to 'spam-it-up' is NOT a valid option. We want a quality forum, cost is NOT the object. (Although excess spam does have a negative cost impact on our host.). ]

So your consideration is appreciated.
