What type of class is your race car...

I've been toying with the idea of starting a business venture...
And I'd like to know a few things.
So.
For those with race cars (both dedicated and non-dedicated)...
How would you describe the class of racing you use it in?
Examples of what I mean....
Tight control, innovation earns the win could be time trial type racing where competitors use a similar car with limitations on mechanical modifications.
Tight control, no variations could be like A1GP type races where everyone uses the same vehicle and the only differences are car setup/driver.
Loosely controlled class, with tried and tested techniques could be drag racing, or motorkhanas.
Loosely controlled class, innovation for the win could be time attack races like the japanese superlap.
Multi purpose is obviously just that, probably cars used in sprints, motorkhanas and hill climbs would be a good example.
