So toyspeed what’s your opinion. Frankly i'm sick of hearing of old ladies houses being struck with fireworks/ cruelty to animals etc. I’m sure it is a small majority screwing it for everyone, but is it really worth it anymore? TBH they now pretty much suck anyway. Personally I think decent public displays are far better.

Yeah, its amazing how stupid some people are with fireworks. I say ban stupid people, it'd be far more rewarding.
Its just not the same without skyrockets and double happys anymore

I think 16 or possibly even 18 would be a more sensible idea to try before giving them a ban altogether.

raise the age limit
then again it' probably knob jockeys over the age thresh-hold that would still be dicks.
as said, they suck now anyway

sales on the day or day before would be better.
See the idiots on the news shooting across a road last week?
idiots come in every age group, so limiting the age wont do piddly imo, just reduce the time frame for sales

I cant see how reducing the timeframe to buy them will help, unless you're talking making it a matter of hours. People will still just buy bulkloads and store them.

May as well ban them. Too many people causing trouble and you getting bugger all for your money these days anyway. Big shows are always better and somewhat safer. Too many idiots get hold of them.
wtf is with the age being 14? The time to buy wouldn't make a lot of difference, just make it busier at the shops. Get rid of them to the public I reckon

If it was up to me I'd ban them completely.
Not because of all the twats that don't know how to use them but because I really couldn't give a rats arse about whether we have fireworks or not and banning would save the people from moaning about it every year...

I'm for raising the age limit... it's just like anything, a select few retards ruining it for the majority og people that are safe and enjoy them.
What gets to me more is how many people don't even know what it's all about.

The guy Fawkes story is about a guy that tried to assassinate a king from the 1600's...
Was listening to talk back yesterday and some guy had a good point. - why don't we celebrate the fact that the twin towers were flown into on Sept 11?
It wasn't just a failed attempt, was more a well executed plan.
Just like everything we do these days its not about the reason and moral behind it - its more the marketing...
We aren't allowed to celebrate Christmas for the only reason its there anymore. its too much of a PC problem.

Twin Towers day!!!
As long as they bring back double happy's, skyrockets, buzzy bees and tom thumbs I couldn't give a toss what it's called.
Otherwise Fireworks as they are = fail
Ban them completely.

I think they should be for sale to any age, sold all year round and be twice as powerful as they are now

The reason it was celebrated was BECAUSE he failed...not celebrating the atemmt, but the fact that he failed and was stopped...
