ive never driven either but after owning an ae92 levin and now an mr2 i dont think that id ever buy a fwd car a again i loath driving my gf's familia cant wait til the 2's back on the road
so my vote goes to ae86

well since ive never driven an Ae86 and i own an Ae101 im gonna have to say Ae101.

since ive never tried driving an Ae86 im gonna leave all comments for after i have done so, anyone wanna let me drive theirs??? :D

How can you even compare the two??!!
86's are for ppl with a huge amount of good taste, FX's are for 15 year olds who just want their parents to buy them a car, any car!! They are up there on my hate like along with Hondas!

Well the ae86 and the ae101 fxgt are roughly the same price to buy these days despite about 10 years difference in age. It really comes down to what your after, remember lightweight simple rwd ae86s arnt everyones cup of tea as much as it is mine. I sure as hell cant imagine the mrs wanting to drive around in an 86!!! I'm sure the ae101 would suit her better! :)
