I have plenty of reasons but I fear if I express them on the forums we'll end up having a major bitch session and the thread would get locked...

i disagree with those that say if you dont vote you have no right to complain.

what if i really do not want to support either option?
by not voting im not advantaging either.

Yeah that is my point, as I stated earlier I see all of the options bad.

Nah, the exact opposite is true, if you didn't put them in power you have every right to complain about the poor judgement of others who did

BTW I've never registered, and obviously never voted before in my life, doesn't stop me from having a valid opinion about the quality of the government :P

Exactly, I don't want any of them to win. I only voted last election to help keep that c*nt Don Brash out of government. I'll probably vote for some inconsequential party so people can't tell me I have no right to complain.

Yep, they disbanded in 1999

Their manifesto is an amusing read : http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/bernar ... funism.htm

You must be reading some other online and confusing it with this thread, where did we just complain?

Why should I vote for people to run the country when none of them ever do what they say pre-election, all of them always manage to piss everyone off half way through their term by deciding on a whole bunch of bullshit ideas and every election the party you want to come in to power sides with a bunch of small little in-bred parties so they get majority and has to push their rules through as well. So tell me, why should I vote for anyone? Especially if their policies is dependant on which one of those in-bred parties they side with (who's policies no one wants)...?

Why not vote for a minority if you dont like labour or national.

Only way mmp will work properly if the minority parties get in.
