Ah, i bet they just rely on the fact that telecom spends millions a year on ensuring the southern cross cable is kept up and running, cant see 3 different companies spending that sort of money for such a small populationrolla_fxgt wrote:Kordia & some aussie cable company called pipe, its going to be a tee off a cable the aussie company is building to Guam.
Also rumours of a 3rd cable too, which i think should go from Hobart to Bluff, so that if anything happens to what i assume is a cable across cook strait the south island still has interent at decent speeds & capacity
