trying to decide whether to stick with 15s or go larger.
Need to get it sorted soon, so i can finish my brake upgrae (either with stock 4 stud or with converting it to 5 stud)

also, if you have any suggestions to what wheels i should run, i would be interested in hearing your ideas.

is the wheel upgrade needed to clear the new brakes or can you keep the original ones?

if your determined for new ones i reckon anything will be sweet so long as you get the rubber to match. and as for a style i wouldnt go past the work wheels from 41

unfortunately the calipers will interfer with the spokes of the stock wheels.
I can run 15s still (just) but its all to do with the design of the wheel.

Cressida 15x6 +20 wheels clear, but the stock 15x6 +20 wheels dont.

I voted 17 - I actually think 16's would be better but having owned numerous cars with 16's I can tell you that it's can be an expensive exercise to get the tyre sizes you want. My vote for 17's only stands if you got some sweet 3 piece wheels, such as:

except maybe not simmons because they're freaking expensive.

the golden rule with wheels is

width must be equal or greater than half diameter.
so a 15 inch wheel must be at least 7.5 inches wide.

add in a max offset of +20 and ya sorted

on old school small FTW

New wheels (16s/17s/etc) on an old car = may as well be 22" spinners.

15x9 or else.

17" will be the cheapes for tyres and wheels compared to 16/18 15 is a cheap option but will look too small on that car. 17" dot com racing from 1400 with rubber.

I disagree Nick.

.com wheels need a curvy car. WORK Meister FTW.

nice taste as always dave.
8)

thinking 17s at this stage, i would like 9s in the rear, but maybe its better to fry my tyres rather than breaking gearboxes.

hmm

Gets my vote too, no bigger than 15" and must be at least 8 wide!
