no its very very cheap. when i asked the mech he said its nearly a two day job if youv never done one before! its apparantly made a lot harder because of the s/c. also their antifreeze price is cheap, itd be about $30+ gst here!

ok cool might have to call up again and book it in. but im hoping it is the waterpump, it could just be a leak somewhere in the pipes conneting and if i get the pump done and its still leaking i'd be fukd

part of replacing the pump will be inspecting the surrounding area to ensure that is your problem

it might pay to stick it up on a hoist to check its not the rubber hose off the back of the water pump leaking
i just replaced my pump on my 20v which was leaking and i was going to replace that rubber hose i bloody well should have because 2 weeks after
replacing the pump you guessed it the bloody hose started leaking
so if it looks perished or cracked it might pay to replace it
even 20v pumps are a bitch to replace i cant even imagine what a s/c one is like

which is not unusual, I rang Giltrap Toyota for a quote to get my cambelt done. Mentioned at the time it was for an EP82 - 4EFTE, was even put through to a guy in the service department, not just a receptionist. He quoted me $160 incl GST. I rang back to book it in & they said that they had made a mistake & as it was the turbo version, it was going to cost $280. I told that I had specified that it was turbo by giving them the part number when I first rang, however they wouldn't accept it...

the supercharger waterpump bolt directly to the stainless pipe that run's behind the motor. Not like 20v that has a hose on the back.
