Postby Ae92typeX » Tue Jun 01, 2004 3:47 pm

Anyone know where abouts on the shore (pref) I can go to get my driveshaft lenghtened?
Im in the process of manual'n my supra but since I cant find a manual shaft will get mine lenghtened as the auto ones are shorter.

Any chance you could measure its length?- Im pretty sure the fittings will be ok. If its the correct length then I'll def buy it.

otherwise cheers MrOizo, if thats not the right size I will look at takeing mine to those guys. Mine's a 2 piece.

Just looking at the shaft, it looks a lot different to the one that's on the car, but I will go measure it....

it's just the front section, and from the tip of the shaft that goes into the gearbox to the 4 bolt flange at the back, it's 61cm

It is possibly the original one from the car, before it was converted to a 5MGE.

Just come and take it. If it works then lucky you, if it doesn't then sell it for scrap to make back your petrol money.

I know Precision engineering shorten drive shafts, so maybe they can lengthen them as well
