Hey,

Work out if there will still be enough spline to go into the spider gears, if so then you can get the ends cut off. I have done it myself a few times, the Axles in my AE86 Race car have been cut as they were non LSD axles.

If the spline is not long enough you can get this spline machined further on the shaft then cut to the correct length.

As long as the splines just need to be extended I can't see it costing more then 50 bucks a side.

I have the phone No. at work of the dude who can cut the splines. I will get it tomorrow for you. If you give him a call he will be able to give you a price.

You need to put the KE70 U code centre in as well, and before you consider resplining the axles you may find the axle is too narrow after the spline to be able to. I think you need U code Starlet axles.
