CVs levin and marino sprinter

Postby Girl_Racer » Wed Jul 07, 2004 11:55 pm

Hi, im posting on the behalf of my GF,
im a mitsi guy so dont know shit bout toyotas other than my misses drives one.

anyway her car needs new CVs,
its a 92 marino sprinter, (thinks its a AE101 chassis)
twin cam 20, 1.6L quad carb.

i need to know if the CVs + shafts from a levin will bolt on as a direct swap, or if at least the CVs are the same.

i know i should just get new CV's but we cant afford it.

thanks

the price difference between new c/vs and 2nd hand shafts probably isnt very much...

i beleive if you get levin shafts from a 20v they will fit, you will need to make sure if her car is auto then you get auto shafts as they could be different

twin cam 20, 1.6L quad carb.

thats quad throttle bodies

Dont waste you time with second hand CV's
Buy brand new ones. That way you know what you're getting.
CV's on average retail for around $150 ea
If you're in the Auckland area i can hook you up some for a reasonable price.

um no...... a carb is a carburettor... throttle bodies are fuel injection, the part that holds the butterflys....
