yea you will need a cert

and adjustables will cost you alot of money, the cheapest/best set i found new are 2000 from sas suspension. they can adjust where the spring and the platform meet, and also where the shock bolts onto the hub can be adjusted down to allow for more travel when the car is very low.

but as i said new adjustables are expensive and all adjustables need a cert ($350)

or if u dont want to spend all tha tmoney and keep your king springs just buy shocks that fit your car that have adjustable hardneses.
GAB make them for ae series, monroe, koni and many more, think it's a bit cheaper that way and you wont need a cert.

so you dont need a cert for adjustable stiffness but you need one for adjustable hieght???? that might be the way to go also are they the shocks that slot into the original struts or do you need custom struts???

I presume your car is a gtz levin.
For the front of the car you can either buy ones that slot in or buy ones that are made with the whole strut.
For the rear you have to buy ones made with the whole strut on it.
No cert needed for adjustable stiffness. Only for height.

A common misconception. TOKICO do make some TRD shocks.
That doesn't mean that a TOKICO brand shock is the same as a TRD shock.
