Blacktop 20v and 4agze

Postby keyterm » Thu Jul 15, 2004 7:02 pm

Hey Guys,

Are there any differences between the 20v blacktop engine block & the 4agze engine block....besides the internals. Things like the alternator & aircon mouting etc....I want to use a 4agze engine block with all the 20vbacktop parts and then turbo this beast. Is this possible...? I was thinking of boosting to about 1bar (15psi).....is this possible? what is the best turbo to use for this application.....

I am gonna use the 4agze bottom end as it is stronger than the 20V......i will then use everything from the 20v ie head, alternator etc.....what is the best turbo to use for this application....and is a boost pressure of 1bar(15psi) acceptable on the standard 4agze bottom end........

i think ur question should be more, is 15 psi acceptable on a factory blacktop 20V head, and should u use ARP bolts for the head, and should it be balanced properly? how well will ur valves last? e.t.c......
becouse most people run there superchargers around 15psi so it should be able to handle it.

But like you said, hes asking about the 20v head..
Does having the 20v head mean it has 20 valves still? or is that somewhere else lol
