I was just wondering what part of the car the 'throttle body' is?
I suspect it could be a few things but more advice would be helpful.
Im asking because In a earlier post it has been said it was a good idea to clean the throttle body to alleviate the problem of engine jerk during acceleration lift off.

The throttle bodie is part of the inlet. It is situated on the end of the inlet manifold or phelnim chamber. 20v's have 4 of the so the are situated directly on top of the inlet manifold. Im sure omeone around here will have a pic to show you in more detail.

G to google image search and search for "throttle body" and see what you get.

thanx for the feedback guyz...has been real helpful.
Anyone know how to remove the AE101 GTZ throttle body for cleaning?...is it jst the case of unbolting everything thats it attached to?

Pretty much, shouldn't be too much of a mission. Just remember where hoses and things go if you take them off
