You can get a short stroke shock from either:
Toyota Corona Mark II station wagon KYB (firm ride)
Toyota Hilux KYB (Very firm) not sure if you use front or rear?

If you want adjustable, buy both for half the price of TRD and just swap them when you race / drift / whatever :)

KE36 wagon shocks are good for pulling the arse end down, possibly a bit on the soft side but a heavy duty replacement is probably available.

After reading that it seems the AE92 front shock would be a good replacement combined with a low spring in an AE86

I'm pretty sure mine has standard shocks and with the current springs in it they are bordering on the limit of being captive when jacked up. I'd like to go lower too but don't really have the money to go height adjustable. The only thing is will how good the standard shocks will put up with a reasonably firm spring :?

Had some newish ke36 jobs sitting at home so slapped them in for a warrent they shortened it up quite abit. For the fornt found out my g/f gets good deals from that stocks place from her work repco. So ordered my sleve and stuff for my car threw her worked out less than $80 a side without a spring
