supercharger oil

how many supercharger oil does 4agze need??
i was told by toyota that cost me $20 for 100ml, thats expensive......
can i just use engine oil instead of the supercharger oil???

Nah man you dont even need oil just run your supercharger on sand...

Toyota sells S/C oil for a reason....use it

AE101Z ... this has been covered a few times. Try the search function :)
Its is very expensive stuff, but if you want to keep your s/charger running properly, then you need to either buy the right s/charger oil, or find a decent equivalent. Some people use certain grades of transmission oil, others use special lubricants from other machine parts etc.

If you're lucky and ask around, someone may have purchased a bottle / container of the proper s/charger oil from Toyota, and will have some left after filling up their s/charger. They may be willing to sell you the remainder at a decent price. Ask around (in the Buy/Sell section).

$20 for 100mls? Thats cheap, you only need 130mls. What you complaining about??

Dont mean to hijack the thread but i heard theres a dipstick for the s/c as well, but i cant find it at all, any help/pics?

There is a dipstick and f****d if I could get mine off. Its right around the very back of the engine. If you look hard enough from the drivers side of the car you should be able to find a yellow wing-nut down the back, thats the top of it

I have filled one with VMX before and that was a year ago and the car is still running round.

ill do it for $10 inc gst for 50ml and that comes with a dispenser as well
it used to be sold only in 1/2 ltr lots, thats what made it exspensive to buy.
