Help, I need an Altezza ECU (3sge Beams Tiptronic)

Postby Dimon » Mon Jul 26, 2004 1:01 am

Hi Guys ,

I have previously posted about my Altezza going to Limp/Failsafe mode upon starting up the car. The suspected problem at the time was fly-by-wire system in the throttle/throttle position sensor. After performing numerous checks, all the sensors and throttle motor checked out fine.

I proceeded to examine the ECU, and it appears that someone has performed some soldering on it.

As I am rapidly running out of things to test, I would really appreciate if somebody got a spare working ECU, let me know about it.

Any feedback on this matter is wellcome :D

Cheers

That car has had a replacement ECU in it and that did not fix the problem (so im told). The soldering was done by an ECU repair place in an attempt to fix the ECU - whether there was nothing wrong with it or they fixed it I have no idea!
