4age pod filter

Postby minijrocks » Sun Aug 08, 2004 9:41 pm

Hi, i have a 91 Trueno and i want to put a pod filter instead of the crappy paper one. Taking a look, its a lot more comapct than my vr4 was. What size filter do you use because there isn't much space behind my battery and the standard filter. do any filters fit rather than moving battery to the boot (this costs $100 right???). and are the pods just the 'tighten the metal screw thing' or is a clip on one like mitsis?

look, a pod filter is a pod filter not a bloody turbo conversion. any $40 air filter will do in place of your standard airbox. Just take that off and bolt your filter on. If it's the airflow meter motor you can buy a little adapter plate which bolts on the meter.

How about fitting a flat panel K&N filter in place of the original, and opening up the base of the box by drilling lots of holes in it with a hole saw?

Just another option.
