KE30 4age conversion

hey i was just wondering if anyone knows if you can use an ae85/7 X member to mount the engine like the later KE70's? or do custom mounts have to be made?

?? not too sure what you mean but you can use a AE85/86 x member in a KE70 to mount an A series engine.

The AE86 has rack and pinion, the KE30 has a steering box. And the crossmember won't bolt in either. Easiest just to get engine mounts made to suit the k series crossmember.

Ah yes now that i re read the post topic i see KE30.

As said KE30 and KE70/AE85-6 are not interchangable.

Best thing to do is get hold of someone who has done this, a friend of mine had borrowed adapters to go between the k series crossmember and the 4age original mounts. But that was on the crossmember for a kp60 starlet. Don't think ke30 are the same
