unless your running a map aftermarket ecu, then yes, you do need it, as thats what the ecu uses to determine the air coming into the engine. if your turboing a stock 20v, then i'm guessing your running a aftermarket ecu anyway.

woopz shud have sed that in my 1st post. Its not a standard 20v, its fully been rebuilt with forged components. Also will be runing a LINK V4 ecu... so what your saying if i run an aftermarket ECU then i dont need to have my airflow meter there?

If your running a link you should be able to throw away the AFM and replace it with a MAP sensor

cullem the dude who wired up your link should have sorted this for you. He should have thrown your AFM in the bin and the map should be all wired up

problem solved, rung Informotive in Rotorua and they where a great help. i will be taking the car over there in the next 2weeks to get a full wire and tune done on the car.
The link that i will be using "LINK V4" has a built in MAP Sensor, so i can just bin the AFM and start fresh with the link option.
