Check the guys at TOKICO, they make a kit for AE86 called HTS102, its 4 short shocks, externally adjustable, and suitable for Road and Track use....of course you still need to find springs to get the height/rate you desire, but hey....at least with the Tokico, its alreadya short travel shock,,,, www.tokico.co.nz

ye the TRD ones i got thru MR Revhead were already shortened i think from memory the front ones were 97mm shorter and the rears were i think 76mm ??? these were also trd AE92 front ones, i had to do a little playing to keep the front captive but give a nice drop,

suprising that the ones in my old AE were not captive thou ay, i mean it was hardly that much lower ay, i mean they were only kings so i didnt think they would be loose with standard shox

wow really ??? hmmm didnt really notice when i was swapping wheels around on it but thats the only time i had ever jacked it up ? but i assumed the shox were all poked anyways so i wouldnt have worried cause i would have swapped everything anyway, not good that they were that loose for such a small amount lowered ay

Wow, the TRD springs must be very short then! 8O How did you 'keep' them captive? Do you have a pic of the car and how it sits now?

Cheers
