What's a ma45 lsd diff out of?

well i must have been f@#king pisscrook the last time i thought i seen it at Levels( it was the day after i BBQ'ed the levin) and i'm sure it was a yellow one that was out racing and parked up in the family pits, unless it was the Mather CA18 powered one.

From my point of view Matt Dunn's corolla is green,
and yes Fangsport is probably think of Mathers yellow DX.

And My one has never been near 10's.
That will be speedtech's dx that is black.
My best is low 12's.

I run a hilux/hiace solid rear axel and believe Speedtech were aswell last time the car was down.
You will need to have a truckload of power to break one of them.
I am not the nicest on my diff and it's a welded one and my car has 280hp at the wheels. Downside is the diff is very heavy.

well that goes to show how often i watch circuit racing, and how much attention i pay to those out racing. for some absurd reason i thought the Beeby car was yellow as well.

too many turbo DX's in sports saloons circa 2000-2003.

From what I've read he's running a Celica solid rear end but with a later ma70 IRS diff head. Please correct me if I'm wrong because it would be good to know if I could use a later diff head.

My ma45 live rear end is certainly ALOT heavier than the standard starlet rear end, but with weight comes strength.

I very much doubt it was an E series diff, have never seen one in a Celica. They had D, T & F series rear ends (in live axle and IRS for the T & F) with the later Supra's going to G series IRS (same centre as hilux/hiace). E series was mainly found in vans.

Well, when it was lying on the floor we did a rough measure up and it was a little over 7 inch so you may be right in saying it could be an 'F' series! The ratio is going to be changed soon so if it was worth the effort I could find out but I am too lazy!
