Replacing Brake Fluid

Postby darkman0101 » Tue Aug 31, 2004 2:20 pm

Howdy,
one of my front brake callipers seized so I have got a replacement.

Now the question is: Roughly how much hydraulic fluid will I require to flush the old fluid out and bleed the system.

The car is an AE92 FXGT.

Cheers in advance,
Jas

And If you're doing any fast road/track work, get the good stuff from Race Brakes - about $70 a litre.
See ya

250ml a wheel is a waste of fluid and money.
we normally change brake fluid with 600ml for all wheels.
just make sure u work ure way to the m/cylinder, eg. L/R, R/R, L/F, R/F

Yeah, we usually use a bit under 500mL on most cars when we do it. Depends how you're going to do it I guess.
