Hmmm 8O

Diff to suit - $400+
Mods to rear end to mount Diff - $800+
Engine/ECU/Wiring - $1000+
Mods to front end to mount engine and reposition rack etc - $1500+
Mods to floorpan for trans tunnel/driveshaft - $800+
Gearbox/clutch/driveshaft - $600+
Relocation of fueltank if required - $500+
Handbrake cable mods if required - $200+
Other things that will come up $1000++++
etc++++++++++++

Hope this helps! :D

NOTE: If you do all the work yourself then it could be alot cheaper.

is it as expensive as u say, if the wagon is 4wd?
coz i know there are 4wd wagons and 4wd sedans that come with shitty 5a-fe's in them...u have the trans tunnel etc already :)

then its just like subies. pretty easy to do, dependant on the setup of the engine.

eg, evos etc, come out east west, but are 4wd, however the 4wd gtr's are north south, s making them rwd would be farking easy, just a new box.

the east west ones, have a transfer case in the middle and shit, makes it icky.

you could always just remove the front half shafts :) thats what u do in a subie... make it rwd by removing those shafts, and man... can those things drift ;) (note - the gearbox was never designed to send all 100% of the power to the rearwheels, so uh... subie gearboxes are already brittle... bye bye box :P)

Done it twice now.

$25,000 approx + engine.

Thats for a lot more than just fitting a box and diff.
Thats building a car from scratch,

hehe but thatll get you a 2jz gte rwd ae101!
how much to do that and get it on the road? id hate to think!...

basicilly if you have to ask how much it costs, it means you dont have the knowledge to do it yaself.. and if you drive a ae101 wagon it probably means you cant afford to pay some one do to it!
