may i point out the big, blatent, stupid mistake that we ALL have made during this protest?





since all these detiny church people were in a big group... all at once... in the same place....

why the $&#$% didnt anyone take this oppurtunity to kill 2 (read "lots of") birds with one stone?

I used to be a part of destiny church, back then it was all good fun, had good mates went out and had a good time, slowly it got more and more extreme, the head pastors managed to convince my friends that I had bad demons in me because I didnt fit in with their ways (not paying my 10%, not goin to church twice on sundays etc etc) so because of them ve lost alot of mates, but on the positive side Me and the other 'outcasts' always ended up as one group, went out and did our own thing, now i couldnt wish for better friends... Destiny church can keep their brainwashing schemes to themselves.. Im still on their email list and a while ago i got an email, cant remember the exact wording but it went along the lines of times here are changing, we are at war with evil/the devil we need people who arent afraid to die for wat they believe in yadayadayada. Now to me thats something to be worried about

Its not anti-christian to be anti-someone-telling-other-people-how-it-is-ok to-live.

Besides, The Destiny Church aren't your run of the mill Christians are they, they're extremists.

You can't be an extremist and expect a county full of diverse cultures and religions to accept laws which directly reflect your extremist beliefs.

I don't know all the ins and outs of the proposed Civil Unions bill, maybe it doesn't need to be passed, maybe people don't need to have their relationships recognised by law, I actually don't really care!

All that does annoy me is anyone who tries to impose their religion based beliefs on others, and anyone who tells people they are bad or wrong for things that cannot be changed, ie, homosexuality. Those people should not be discriminated against and that's all there is to it.
