ae86 front bumper lips

hey, i was interested to know if anyone has modified a front lip from another car to fit on a ae85/6 levin front bumper with minimal effort? or if anyone knows any custom bodykit places in chch?

Go and pay a visit to Plastec (I think that's there name) Down Lichfield St, right next to Specialised Panel & Paint. They'll pretty much customise any kit to fit any car

How different are they from the NZ AE82 GT's? i expect they wrap around further?? Can some one confirm? I managed to track down the NZ factory that made the ODM genuine Toyota NZ Foam jobbies, I did not pursue seeing if they could make just one however if they fitted 86's as well then maybe we could approach as a group and buy a few to make it worth while for them to build!!

They are all a different width. AE82 will not fit AE86 and Trueno and Levin/GT Corolla ones are different as well.

how much bigger lip is one of these to a facelift bumper?

i got a front lip on my non facelift ae85 levin bumper thats off another car. i aquired it when buying some other parts so don't know what its off. its toyota but not ae86, it was wider than levin along the front by 12mm (is a 2piece so just trimmed a bit more off in the middle and rejoined it.) and it actually fits into the wheel arch with only a little shaving. i am still to get it plastic welded on the join but i think it looks real good for a home mod. get good comments too cos its different to a ae86 or facelift. I'll try get a pic up to show.

i have heard rumors of a possible run of fibre glass levin and trueno front lips in the near future availabe, but not sure if it happening.
