i've never been on 4agze with front mount so not too sure how big a difference it would be but I still used the top mount on my old ae82 (sticking thru a whole in my bonnet) and that was fine for a 14.2 1/4 on only 10psi.
Having said that the car also had an LSD which was a real bonus.
intercooler too big?
