Grab filter and turn with your hand. If it is too tight, wack a screw driver through it and turn it off with leverage.DO NOT DAMAGE THE THREAD ON THE BLOCK...ONLY DAMAGE THE FILTER as you obviously dont need it.

They're pretty readily available from most V8 shops I think, you know how the bogans love their braided hoses
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!

another trick if you are putting on a different manifold is you can remove the aluminum spacing block between the filter and the block.
If you need more space.

Down your way you'd be best to go to Etchell's or Brennan's, you'll need the oil filter remote mount + filter to suit, plus the hoses & fittings & then need a blanking/remote oil line take-off plate to bolt to the block where the standard filter was, you can add an oil cooler in the mix if needed as well. You don't need braided lines to do the job, Enzed should be able to supply you with suitable hoses & swagelock fittings to do the job or can make them for you.

i run a remote filter kit on my gtz " a v8 one if i remeber right " i do reckomend running braded lines as the extractors do run rather close to the lines
