7.5 to wide for fx?

would 17 by 7.5 mags fit on a fx ae92 facelift
i would thinkthey might be to wide but they have 205 40 17 tyres on them which makes me think that they might has anyones tried to fit 7.5 inch wide rims on one.

any help appreciated

I think thats the size I had on my ae92. It was on super lows as well & I just had to do a tiny flaring job to stop the tyres contacting the guard.

yeah this fx is on superlows but compressed another 30 mm so its pretty low.
was yours a fx or a levin?

Tyre size is more an issue than wheel size, so if you're using 205 tyres, shouldnt be a problem.

My AE92 FXGT is on 205 40 17's and super lows. Still has plenty room between the guards, and the struts.

yeah i know tht its more the tyre size but 7.5 is quite a bit wider than 7 inch so i didnt know wether it would still fit in there cause when i had 205s in my fx there was no room to move in there at all

Yea, mine was a levin.
Are you able to try the mags youre intending first. It should be ok, but depending on offset it could be pretty, or too close to the strutt.

yep they will fit, i got AE92 gtz with 17x7.5's lowered enough tires at same height as guard.

and qik20v has 17x7.25's on his and they fit
