Reason I wanted to go for the 4efte is cos you just dont see em around...it would be nice to say I own something a bit different....

Whats your supply of 4efte's like mr Revhead? If at all?....

Which fuel tank and lines should I be looking for? Ie any corolla of same year (oviously injected) or are most of the corollas similar when it comes to that, ie can use some out of any injected corolla (fx, or whatever...what about starlet?)

Also what are the type of things that need to be certed? Brakes, fuel system, etc etc... also what are the cert requirements for fuel lines? Do they have to be the steel lines you normally see, or can you use the same reinforces plastic piping you often see on fuel cells etc?

2age is not a common conversion, theres plenty of 4eftes around, been a while since iv priced one but im gunna guess at around $1-1500 for a conversion kit from a ep91 glanza. but i could be a bit off there.

as for fuel tank id go for one from an injected corolla gt or similar

Hmmm fair enough, I just cant help but think that while Im doing all the effort with wiring, fuel lines etc, I might aswell go for the turbo option - leaves it a bit more open for bigger things later on, If i do decide to do more to it...

I dont have ne money for this at the moment anyway..not for another couple of weeks till I get paid again anyway - So for now just trying to weight my options and do some research to see which will work out to be best value for money transplant...

You'll need a cert for
new engine mounts (if any)
new engine (carbie to injected)

I dont think there is anything for a differnet fuel delivery system or turbo.

If you keep the same cc you wont need a cert for that.

replacing fuel tank and lines etc is overrated! I am running std lines and tank with mine. There is already a return line there but it is used as a breather with carb'd engines. You will just have a 6mm feed and 5mm return opposed to 8mm and 6mm. I dunno how it will go on a turbo'd engine but works fine with my 4AGE.
Oh, and you may wanna put a surge tank in for racing use.

Im assuming if a 4age can run fine on the fuel supply on standard lines, then 1300 turbo should be fine, Ive been told the standard fuel pump should be fine, only reason I was goin for EFI tank is cos it had a return line/internal fuel pump etc etc...

Any idea of which line it is I need to use for the return?

Man this whole thing is getting easier (and cheaper) by the day lol
