Air filter replacement

Postby CozmoNz » Thu Sep 30, 2004 8:00 pm

Right, air filter, want a new replacement, dont want a poddie.

http://www.trdsales.com/shop/product.asp?catcode=259 has a *toms* airfilter for an ae111 trueno / levin, this good, for this price?

k&n filters are roughly the same price, but arnt made for car specific (or rarely), i dont know of any that will fit my car.

anyone have a good one around that i can buy :D. *NEW* :D. pref trd, toms, hks or whatnot.

I don't have one for sale, but I had a look on the knfilters.com website and the K&N panel filter part number 33-2030 fits your vehicle. That filter fits all 4A-GE engines.

Ahh, wrong there.

I have a 33-2030 that I had in my AE92 FXGT.
Had it for a week and sold the car so I kept the filter,

It does NOT fit my AE111 4AGE blacktop as the 33-2030 filter is too big for the housing. I need a shorter filter.

I now have a 33-2030 for sale.

bugger all that lot. iv found the ultimate solution! make your own!!
just get a paor of panty hose and wrap em round the intake! then use duct tape to secure it! works just as well as a wildcat and is lots cheaper
