Help !!! MR2 lost it's guts

Hey my MR2 turbo seems to boost and then plateau so it shows it's boosting but doesn't feel like it's accelerating any faster any ideas cos it's just started doing it. Could it be that my turbo has finally given up (It spits oil out of my bov) If so how hard to get the turbo off so that I can send it away to get High flowed.

well since you say its spitting oil from the BOV then id assume the turbo seals r blown.

if you dont have many tools or dont feel confident then it can be quite hard, but theres nothing especially hard about removing the turbo. just a remove the bolts untill it come out.....

the worst bit IMO is removing the cat and the elbow. the bolts r prolly rusted and seized in place a few may even break, use some penertrating oil....

Yea it seems to boost to about 6lb and then flatlines ie doesn't pull all the way to the red line anymore, It is also quite hesitant when it's cold (more than usual) and seems to be using a sh#t load more gas (like 30km's to $10 under normal driving conditions) any Ideas ???
