VSC - ANyone know anythign about it?

Postby Inane » Mon Oct 11, 2004 11:06 am

Anyone know how I can either disable the VSC (temporarily) or better yet install a switch to turn it off and on?

(I've got a GTT Caldina)

i think the abs fuse is also used for the vsc, pull it out and see, it disables eithe vsc or traction control maybe both. but remember you wont have any abs!

I considered that, but is that going to stop the Traction control?
or make it less effective?

because the traction control also lowers the power delivered to the wheels, and changes gear etc.

ok he what he does is unplug the abs module under the bonnet.
that disables abs, vcs and traction control but keeps tiptronic.
have fun, but watch it, it apparnatly makes a difference, and caldinas take up a bit of room going sideways...

it does on a hub dyno, the traction control goes nuts, and the abs fires off all the way through
