If theyre anything like the rest of trd's gear then they should be excellent.
I think there are three different types depending on your requirements.

If you want a good deal on a set, PM 'MR REVHEAD' he should be able to get you a set for a competitive price.

at that price they would want to be , or do you want them so you are 'TRD equipped'

Oooh Joe, that's a bit harsh.
Truth is, they're fantastic pads. We used TRD street pads in our rally car. They're no dearer, in fact probably cheaper, than other 'name brand' motorsport pads i.e pagid, hawke, etc...
Having rallied for nearly 30 years I like to think I know what I want in a brake pad.
The TRD pads offer good braking, good feel, good longevity & they're neither noisy or hard on rotors.

Are they another brand - rebranded? Well, of course they'll be made by another company, but I've used a lot of pads in my time & never come another brand that do all of the above as well.

We have a good range in stock, at a good price.

jeez your easy to get a rise out of, Bruce. i my re-name myself aRSe on this forum and cut loose!!!!!

i wasn't really dissing TRD products, more the fact that a many a sale has been created for 'wank' value and to justify the sticker.

Used them on my GT4 for the Targa Tour a few weeks back and no issues with them. For street use they'd be perfect, I do feel that grooved rotors would be beneficial for competition use though - which is why I have a set on order  .

Wank value? That must be those other brands.
I'm sure all TRD purchasers are discerning Toyota owners who know quality when they see it.

The real perception (despite what the local ostrich, opps sorry agent, thinks) that TRD is rebranded comes from the US where some of the TRD USA product such as clutchs and brake pads) used to be (may still be) rebranded local stuff and not the same as the TRD Japan product. And I hope the TRD Japan brake pads have been updtated since I got tucked for a set of poxy Ferrodo DS11s in a TRD box :).

i always though ds11s were good? must be, iv seen em on a ferrari!

yeah a lot of TRD-USA parts are not the same as TRD JAPAN.
and a lot of TRD parts are made by outside contractors, to TRD specs so they are not necasarily the same as a product made by the same company. TRD parts are VERY good, but like most things, theres sometimes something better! wether or not its a similar price though is another thing entirely! so to be brutally honest id say youd be happy with TRD pads, but i cant say you wont find something cheaper thats as good or better. if you do let me know!
