Engine vibration issue, 1996 BZ-G Levin

Postby Graphite » Wed Dec 15, 2004 8:24 pm

Recently I have had a bit of work done on my car, I had the cambelt done 3000k's ago and just last week the clutch replaced.
The problem I have was evident before clutch replaced though, have noticed it more since driving another car around for a few days.

When I cold start car in the morning the whole car vibrates quite noticabily (when the revs are up), when the cars warmed up and at normal idle RPM it seems ok, but if i slowly increase RPM to 1200 it vibrates heaps again, it seems to be between 1200-1500rpm, at high RPM its fine.

Anyone have a clue what could be wrong?
Thanks in advance.

Its only from 1200-1500rpm when you are sitting parked, not in gear etc.

Do these engines have counter balancing shafts etc that need to be set properly when changing cambelt?
