Mine does that real bad too, if you snap 2nd and stomp on it, the car bogs down really badly momentarily, then boosts up again. Do you run a BOV? I watched mine the other day while my mate revved the car, the piston seemed to take an awfully long time to return to its' seat, during which time all boost just leaked out through the slowly closing hole.. causing a huge flat spot.. I'm thinking that might be my problem?
I find if I flat shift, (keeping your foot on the gas while changing gear) It hardly happens, because the BOV isn't open as much, for as long. I'm considering trying a BFMR factory plumbback bov to see if it fixes it.
About the high idle, put your hand over your factory/aftermarket bov and see if that fixes it, I've had that before in turbo's where the bov wasn't sealing, and still had suction, allowing air into the intake under vacuum, causing a high idle.
