help needed urgent

is it possible to adjust the brake balance on the rear of a ae101?

i take it still didnt pass?

it is a 1995 ae101

the car has a rear brake imbalance,
on the foot brake the left rear is a lot higher than it should be,

Rebuild both rear calipers - cheap, easy, and will probably solve your problem.

unless its you rear biasing valve then you would have just wasted all the money to get teh same result
are the leacking ??
do the have good pads ??
do they lock up evenly when you apllie the hand brake ??

do you have abs ??

need a liitle more info :D

They're cheap to do, and it's good general maintenance anyway.

no not leaking, no abs, and yes hand brake passed brake roller test ok

id be heading towars biasing valve
there not to cheap but pm ken loud he might have a spare :D

are the lines in good nick?

no kinks or dings in the metal line, obviously the rubber line is okay 'cos they would have failed it if perished.
looks to me like a valve issue if the handbrake pulls up evenly.

cheers for help. like si said pads are new, no leaks, no abs, handbrake is pulling up evenly on the rollers. imbalance is almost 50% left rear reads about 150 right is around 100 on the foot brake. may have to shoot to pick a part and get a balance v/v. car only has till to the 9th to get re-checked so need to get it sorted

mines doing this, but its on the rears so i didnt really care ^_^.

i just took it to another place, so its the valve or something, how much is one, where is it fitted etc, INFORMATION please :).
