Since the topic f**ked out read darkman0101's post further down...

................................

Word of advice... Having a lowered car is a pain in the ass... Even more if you do the shocks too... My ae85 is like a road legal go cart now :?

But if you don't go too low, or too hard it should be fine

If u want to keep the wheels i suggest not lowering it since u have the wrong offset u will run in2 all sorts of probs , if u want to lower it i can do it for u if u like and i can get u the shocks aswell if u like , tell me wot u want out of the car and i can do it for u plus i can also do ur wheel alignment aswell so we'll have all bases covered :D

Haha, since the original post appears to have disappeared off the face of the earth...

The story is (quick version):

Want to lower AE92 FXGT.
Not sure how low I want to go tho, so if anyone has done theirs let me know.
Need to replace shocks anyway as right rear doesn't rebound anymore.
Don't want to spend craploads of cash... just a better look with no decrease in handling or tire wear.

Oh, I have 6mm spacers on the rears so that they clear the struts, so am guessing that the V1s will have to go (which is a shame).

Would I be able to do it myself maybe hiring spring compressors (don't start the need them/don't need them argument again), or would I be better to get a shop to do the whole lot in one go?

How much am I gonna be looking at?

Cheers,
Jas
