what is this motor?

hey guys
so anyway, on my missions, i found a truck chassis, a TOYOTA truck chassis infact. And i wanna know what motor its equiped with, so then i can identify the g/box etc.

its a 4 cylinder PETROL engine, in/ex on same side, VERY similar to a K series motor, (ie dizzy, fuel pump same location, water system identical)
hmmm, i also noticed the oil is cooled via the radiator, ahh, oil filter facing DOWN (under manifolds), anything else anyone needs to know i can easily get.

Can you find the engine number?

I suspect it is an R series.

i suspect its a "y" engine

There is a pic of a 4Y, but distributor appears to far forward compared to the pics above. Having trouble finding an R motor pic.

ye ive worked on a 4y before, and its not a y motor.

the thermostat is on the hot water outlet, same a k motor, not same as a y motor.

ill have a geez at the block today and see if i can spot an engine number

12rj from something like a rh24 hiace truck
or maybe 5r from ru2#/3# dyna/toyoace

im assuming its a W box, but i think its variable ratio
but could be wrong, its wasnt a large truck.

Plus the rear axle is fuken humungous, and could be too big to transplant without serious modification
And its a hydraulic-drum brake setup which is a bonus, as opposed to air brakes.
