rims for drag starlet?

Postby shaggz » Mon Feb 07, 2005 3:15 pm

next month we are having street drags in new plymouth and i will be driving my old starlet that my mate has brought it will be running 14-16 pounds boost, has new 2.5 inch exhaust and induction and all that is done, i was wondering it currently has 16" mags with 195/40 r16's on it and was looking at possibility of running 14" on the front with the fatest tyres i can get on them do yuo think this would be a good idea or not realy worth the gain,i have my launches sussed in it so wheel spin ont a massive problem,it had 14"s when i brought it......and input helpfull specially if yuove dragged a starlet
drive it till it breaks, then upgrade it

yeah do it.

Go 14s with either 205 or 215s on them.

Drop the pressure down to 18psi also (even lower if you've got a strong clutch and the surface aint too bumpy)

Leave the rear wheels as is (assuming ur talking bout a fwd starlet)
