APEXI AFC info wanted please

Postby DEVILE » Sat Feb 12, 2005 6:25 pm

I am considering buying an APEXI AFC and I was wondering if anyone has ever used one on a silvertop 20 valve?

Will this be enough to remove the air flow meter once it is installed? are they easy to install/use? reliable?

Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

Its a piggy back fuel controller so it will never replace the AFM on its own.

To get any gains you will have to use a wideband a/f meter during tuning.

Any decent tuning garage will have one with their dyno. Otherwise if you wanna do it on the street a decent wideband setup will cost around the $600 mark if not more.

Nah when you tune you need a wideband, makes no difference on the model of piggy back

Pretty much, but it does have it's limitations.
