I vote Al cos hes deleloped a taste for upping the boost ever so slightly every now and then, 'It ran fine on 17psi, 18 wont hurt it' soon itl be '18 was really fast... so 20 will be even faster:>:>:>'

Its human nature to test the limits

It didnt like 20 when i tried a 3rd gear gtech power run

i had the boost controller setup for the strip, so didnt need much load for boost, i left it on those settings and planting boot at 2000rpm in 3rd and then hitting 3000rpm results in a massive boost spike off the boost gauge 8O the ecu promptly took away all my timing

Boost spiking to 19psi when T-VIS opens and levelling off to 18psi for 8 drag runs today and a spirited drive about the countryside. Still going strong 8)

22psi on standard internals? That will be an expensive lesson for that silly boy!
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

He normally drives a real crappy commodore, so go figure. He was going to do it up as a motorkana/autocross car but is now rebuilding the engine.

if a ceramic turbo is ment to explode at 14psi, id imagine 25 wouldnt be to good for it.
