differences in ke70 sedan

Postby qik20v » Tue Mar 01, 2005 10:59 pm

hey

im just wondering all the differences in different ke70 sedan/ae70 sedans that people have worked out over the years?

and what is different about a manual and an auto if you are planning on ripping the engine and gearbox out anyway? (apart from the interior shifter, pedals and possibly dash)

thanks

ke70 have a 4k 1300 and 6 inch diff cable clutch
Ae70 have a 3a 1500 (i think don't shoot me never owned one)

there is also te71 has a 2t 1600 motor t series box with hydrolic clutch bigger struts and brakes in the front and a t series rear end 6.7 diff but with drum brakes

also the little cup like thing on the fire wall for the cable clutch is needed or made for an auto conversion, g box x member may be different and the hole in the trans tunnel

There are also three or or four, ( or more ) different styles of headlights grill's and the appropiate front guards to match them.
